Find the number of bricks to build a Wall 25m long, 35cm wide, 3.6m high. If each brick( including morter) occupies the space 25cm*12.7cm *7cm

Hey..

Since Volume of wall = l*b*h

= 25m * 0.35m * 3.6m

= 31.5 m^3

= 31.5 * 10^6 cm^3

= 31500000 cm^3


And..

Volume of each brick = 25cm * 12.7cm * 7cm

= 263.9 cm^3..

Hence number of bricks

= Volume of wall / Volume of each brick

= 31500000/ 263.9

= 119,363.395

Hence 119364 is correct answer.
