Find the Number of Poles to be NeededPoles are to be fixed along the boundary of a rectangular field in such a way that distance between any two adjacent poles is 1.5 meters.The perimeter of the field is 84 m and the length and the breadth of the field are in the ratio of 4:3 respectively. How many poles will be required?

let the ratio be x
so,2[4x+3x]=84 perimeter = 2[l+b]
7x=84/2
x=42/7
x=6
so l=24m
b=18m
no of poles arranged along the length=24/1.5
=16
no of poles arranged along the breadth=18/1.5
=12
hence total poles= 2[16+12]
=2*28
=56
