Find the number of right angles turned by the minute hand while the clock goes from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock.

So, from 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock 3 hours or 180 minutes has passed.

Here the common mistake is people will think that the answer to the question is only 1 right angle. But here, in the question, it is clearly stated "MINUTES". So it is not the hour hand but the minute hand. In one hour, the minute hand does a full revolution, from 12 - 12. One full revolution = 360° or 4 right angles.

6 o'clock to 9 o'clock has a time span of 3 hours. 3 hours means 3 full revolutions or 3 x 4 right angles = 12 right angles.

Hope your doubt is cleared. Mark answer as the brainliest if found helpful.
