Find the number of sodium ions in sodium sulphate.

Sodium sulphate  ionic formula is Na₂SO₄
So its clear that in one molecule of Na₂SO₄ we have 2 sodium ions(Na⁺) .

As we all know the chemical formula of sodium sulphate is Na₂SO₄.


Na₂SO₄ constitutes of 2 ions of Sodium(Na) and 1 ion of sulphur and 4 ions of Oxygen.


Hence , the total no : of sodium ions in one molecule of Na₂SO₄ is 2
