Answer:

Length of floor = 12m

Breadth of floor = 8m

Area of floor = length*breadth

= 12*8

= 96m²

or 960000cm² [1m² =10000cm²]

Side of square tile= 50cm

Area covered by a square tile = side*side

= 50*50

= 2500cm²

No. of tiles = Area of floor/Area of a tile

= 960000/2500

= 384

So, Number of tiles required is 384.

Hope it helps u.

Step-by-step explanation:

12 m = 100*12 = 1200

8 m = 10*8 = 800

area of the room is 1200 m * 800 m = 960000 m²

area of 1 tile = 50 cm * 50 cm = 2500 cm²

no. tiles required for covering the room is :

960000 / 2500 = 384 tiles .

so the no. of tiles required is 384 tiles ...
