HELLO DEAR,

given that:-

X=3

now put the value in the Equation

We get

x2 - 5x + 4

32 - 5*3 + 4

= 9- 15 + 4

= -2

(-2) is the remainder,

, 2 must be added to Polynomial So that 3 will be a zero of the polynomial.

Verification:

x² - 5x + 4

Adding 2,

x²- 5x + 6

=> 32 - 5*3 + 6

=>9 - 15 + 6

= >15-15

=> 0

, 2 is supposed to be added to the polynomial, for 3 to become a zero of the polynomial.

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
