Let be x=3
then put the value of x in polynomial
3^2 -5(3) +4
9-15+4=-2
x-2=0,x=2
the 2 should be added to the polynomial to equal the zero
here is prove
3^2 -5(3) +4+2=0
9-15+6=0
0=0
hence proved

Step-by-step explanation:

Let be x=3

Putting value of x we get,

(3)2 -5(3) +4

9-15+4=-2

x-2=0,x=2

therefore ,2 should be added.

3^2 -5(3) +4+2=0

9-15+6=0.
