LHS= -21/18+(7/16+13/4)

First you have to solve the bracket

So take lcm of 16 and 4

The lcm of 16 and 4 is 16

Then make the both fractions equivalent

7/16=7/16

13/4=52/16

7/16+52/16=59/16

Then our remaining question is:

-21/18+59/16

Now take lcm of 18 and 16

So lcm of 18 and 16 is 144

Then make the both fractions equivalent

-21/18= -168/144

59/16= 531/144

-168/144+531/144= -363/144

Now we can make them in simplest form

so.......    -363/144= -121/48
