Heya !!!

Let the number be X.

Dividend = X

Divisor (D) = 38

Quotient (Q) = 23

Remainder (R) = 17

We know that,

Dividend = Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

X = 38 × 23 + 17

X = 874 + 17

X = 891

Therefore,

Dividend = X = 891

Answer :

We know that,

dividend = (divisor × quotient) + remainder

Given,

divisor = 38, quotient = 23 and remainder = 17

Now, putting these values in the above formula, we get

the required number = 38 × 23 + 17

= 874 + 17

= 891
