The answer of your question is " foe"
This is because the other three words are similar  friend and pal are the exactly synonym of each other which means the pal is actually used for a friend. Companion word is also used for a "ally  or partner" and may be used for a friend .
While on the other hand the "foe" means '' opponent or the enemy" so the word foe is really the odd one here.
