Answer:

Molecular mass of calcium hydroxide = 40+32+4*16+1/2(2*1+16)

= 72+64+1/2(18)

= 136+9

= 145

% composition of Ca = (40*1/145)*100

= 27.58 %

% composition of S = (32*1/145)*100

= 22.06 %

% composition of O = {(4*16+16/2)/145}*100

= (72/145)*100 = 49.65 %

% composition of H = (1*1/145)*100

= 0.70 %
