Answer:

Given,

The figure is in the Shape of Rectangle

Length of the rectangle :- 5x cm

Breadth of the rectangle :- 3y cm

To Find :-

Perimeter of the Rectangle.

Formula Required :-

perimeter \: of \: rectangle \:  = 2(length + breadth)

\huge\sf\underline{solution}

Let,

The length of the rectangle be 'l'

The breadth of the rectangle be 'b'

The perimeter of the rectangle be 'p'

\sf\implies p = 2(l + b)

\sf\implies 2 ( 5x + 3y)cm

= (10x + 6y)cm

But in options they directly given '2(5x + 3y)cm'

So Answer is Option 'C'.

KNOW MORE :-

1) Perimeter of Square = 4 × side

2) Perimeter of Triangle = sum of its all sides

3) Perimeter of Circle = 2πr (r = radius)

4) Perimeter of Equilateral Traingle = 3 × side

5) Area of Square = (side)²

6) Area of Right angle triangle = 1/2×b×h

(b = base , h = height)

7) Area of Circle = πr²

(r = radius)

8) Area of Parallelogram = b×h

(b = base , h = height)

9) Area of trapezium = (a+b)/2 × h

( a = length of parallel side ,b = length of another parallel side ,h = height)

10)Area of Rhombus = (pq)/2

( p = diagonal , q = another diagonal)

Question :- Find the parimetre of the figure using given dimensions 5x cm and Зу cm .

(A) (5x+3y) cm

(B) 5x x 3y cm

(C) 2 (5x+3y) cm

(D) 2x5x3y cm

Solution :-

we know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth) .

we have given that, ,

Length = 5x cm.

Breadth = 3y cm.

so,

→ Perimeter = 2(L + B)

→ Perimeter = 2(5x + 3y) (C) (Ans.)

Hence, Perimeter of given figure will be 2(5x + 3y) .
