ANSWER:

We know, perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l+b)

So, the perimeter is:

2×(25+15)

2×40

80 cm

Now, area of a rectangle= b

So, the area is:

25×15

375 cm²

To find : perimeter and area of rectangle .

Given : length of rectangle is 25\ m and width is 15\ m .

Solution :

  • According to question we are given that length of rectangle is 25\ m and width is 15\ m .
  • To find area we use following formula -
  • Area of rectangle = l\times b
  • Substituting the values we get,
  • Area of rectangle = (25\times 15 ) \ m^{2}

                                     = 375\ m^{2}

  • To find perimeter we use following formula -
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b)

                                              = 2 (25 + 15 ) \ m \\= 2 ( 40 ) \ m\\= 80 \ m

Hence, area and perimeter of rectangle is 375\ m^{2} and 80\ m respectively .
