on joining mid points of the square

we will get the diagonal of square

diagonal of square = √2 × side

√2 × side = 16cm

side = 16/ √2

16 × √2 / √2 × √2

= 16√2/ 2 = 8√2

side of square = 8√2cm

perimeter of square

= 4 × side = 4 × 8√2

= 32√2cm

Answer:

perimeter of the square figure

= 32√2cm

New side is H of right angle

H² = P² + B²
= 8² + 8²
= 64 + 64 = 128
√128 = 11.31 cm

now, 11.31 x 4 = 45.24 Ans
