Find the perimeter of a rectangle whose length is 40 cm and its diagonal is 41 cm

Answer:

diagonal = 41 cm

one side = 40 cm

by Pythagoras theorem

the other side = √(41×41 - 40×40)

= √(1681 - 1600)

= √(81)

= 9 cm

perimeter = 2(9+40)

= 2 × 49

= 98 cm Ans.
