find the radius , i.e. , diameter divided by 2.
then to find perimeter , formula is =half*π*r*r

sagnik50: why I am wrong?
sagnik50: no formula of area=π*r*r incase of circle and in case of half circle formula is (π*r*r)/2
sagnik50: perimeter formula of half circle=π*r
sagnik50: then what?
sagnik50: now you answer me
sagnik50: do you mean to say (π+2)r ?

 p = \frac{1}{2} π × d

 p = \frac{1}{2} × \frac{22}{7} × 7.8

 p = \frac{22}{14} × 7.8

 p = \frac{11}{7} ×7.8

 p = \frac{85.8}{7}

 p = 12.25cm (approximately)

Thanks...!!!
