Answer:

perimeter = 2×( length + breadth)

perimeter = 2×( 25m + 8m )

perimeter = 2×33m

perimeter = 66m

now area of recantangular field is 66 × 2 =132

so the perimeter of square field is also 132 m square

The perimeter of a square filed is 80 meter.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : The perimeter of a square field having twice the area of a rectangular field of length 25 m and breath 8 m?

Solution :

The area of the rectangular field is A_r=l\times b

The length is l=25 m and breadth is b=8 m.

The area is A_r=25\times 8

A_r=200\ m^2

The area of the square field is twice the area of a rectangular field.

A_s=2A_r

A_s=2\times 200

A_s=400\ m^2

The area of the square field is A_s=a^2

i.e. a^2=400

a=20

The side of square is 20 m

The perimeter of the square field is P=4a

P=4\times 20

P=80\ m

The perimeter of a square filed is 80 meter.
