Find the perimeter of a triangle with vertices (0,4),(0,0) and (3,0)

Let’s name the points as A(0,4), O(0,0) and C(3,0).
The points can be plotted as:


Clearly AO = 4 units and OB = 3 units
Also,


Hence perimeter of triangle AOB = 4 + 3 + 5 = 12 units.

If you plot it, it will be like a right angled triangle with A- (0,4), B-(0,0), C-(3,0). Suppose A- (0,4) is 4 units on y axis(perpendicular) and C- (3,0) is 3 units on X axis. So we can find AC to be 5 units by Pythagoreas theorem. Add 4+3+5 = 12
