Step-by-step explanation:

radius of side circles is (3.14*2.5*2.5/2)*2

and of top circle is (3.14*2*2/2)

total area=9*6

total area - area of semi circles is your ans

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(L+B)

L= 2+5+2 =9cm

B= 1+4+1 =6cm

So, perimeter of rectangle = 2(9+6) =2(15) =30cm

Now for bigger semi circle,

d1 = 5cm

r1 =2.5cm

For smaller semi circle,

d2 =4cm

r2 = 2cm

So,perimeter of shaded region = Perimeter of rectangle - (Perimeter of 2 bigger semi-circles + Perimeter of smaller semi circle)

=30 -(Pie r1^2 + 1/2 Pie r2^2)

=30 -[3.14{(2.5)^2 + 1/2(2)^2}]

=30 -[3.14(6.25 +2)]

=30 -[3.14 (8.25)]

=30 -25.905

=4.095 cm

Hope this helps you...
