we know that area of square = a²
[ where 'a' is the length of one side]
a²=64
a=8
perimeter of square= 4a
[ where 'a' is the length of one side]
4a
4×8
32
hence the perimeter of square is 32 cm.

answer is:

area of square

 { = side}^{2}

 = 64cm {}^{2}  = side { }^{2}

 =  \sqrt{ 64cm { }^{2} }  = side

so,side=8cm

perimeter of square=4×side

=4×8cm

=32cm.
