Step-by-step explanation:

i. P= 2(l+w)

= 2 ( 2+7)

= 2 × 9

= 18cm

A= l× w

= 7cm × 2cm

= 14 cm²

ii. P= 2(l+w)

= 2 ( 1.5 + 8 )

= 2 × 9.5

= 19m

A= l × w

= 1.5m × 8m

= 12m²

And I think both shapes are rectangle!

Answer:

I) given in rectangle - length of rectangle =7 cm

bread of rectangle = 2 cm

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

= 2( 7+2)

= 2 × 9

= 18 cm

ii) given in rectangle - length of rectangular- 8 m

breadth of rectangle - 1.5 m

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

=2(8+1.5)

=2× 9.5

=19cm
