Answer:

10x+4y.

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter= Sum of all sides

               =4(x+2y) + 2(3x-2y)

               =4x+8y+6x-4y

               =10x+4y.

Hope it is helpful for you....

Given: A hexagon ABCDEF with sides:

          AB = 3x-2y, BC = x + 2y, CD = x + 2y, DE = 3x-2y, EF = x + 2y and FA = x + 2y

To find:  Perimeter of the given hexagon

Solution:

We know that perimeter is the sum of all sides.

∵ Perimeter of given hexagon = AB + BC+ CD + DE + EF + FA

(3x-2y) + (x + 2y) + (x + 2y) + (3x-2y) + (x + 2y) + (x + 2y)

2(3x - 2y) + 4(x+2y)

6x - 4y + 4x + 8y

10x + 4y

Hence, the perimeter of the given hexagon is 10x+4y.
