Therefore, they are 2 complete circles which are congruent (because they have similar diameter of 14).


Perimeter of a circle is πd or 2πr (r is radius and d is diameter, 2 times radius is diameter).


Therefore perimeter of one circle is 2×22/7×7 (14 is diameter so 7 is radius).

Solving this we get 2×22 (7 cuts /7)

=44 cm, this is perimeter of one circle, as there are 2 circles the perimeter is 44×2= 88 cm is the perimeter of the given shape.
