Find the perimeter of the rectangle if the lenth of a rectangle is 12cm and breadth is 5.5cm.What would be the length of side of square with the same perimeter as that of a rectangle​

Answer:

perimeter of rectangle is 2(length+breadth)

2(12+5.5)=35

perimeter of square is 4×side

4×side=35(given)

side=8.75

Perimeter of Recatangle=

2(l+b)

= 2(12+5.5)

= 2× 17.5cm

= 35.0

Perimeter of square=

4×side

35cm = 4×side

35/4

8.7 cm
