Find the perimeter of the rectangle whose length is 15cm and diagonal is 17cm.​

We know that 17cm is the hypotenuse of a right triangle with one side being 15cm.

So from the Pythagorean theorem we know that 17^2 - 15^2 will equal the square of the other side. 289 - 225 = 64 which is 8^2.

Therefore the rectangle has sides of 8 and 15 perimeter is 46 cm
