2) Cos(2x) cycle completes in 180°

3) Cos(3x) cycle completes in 120°

4) So if you see, there's basically a pattern, i.e., you divide 360 by the coefficient of x. Hence incase of cos (4x) it'll be 360/4=90 hence the cycle will complete in 90° or 1/2.
