Solution :

Step 1 of 2 :

Write down the given equation of the line

The given equation of the line is

x - y = 4 - - - - - (1)

Step 2 of 2 :

Find point of intersection of x axis and the line

The line intersects x axis

We have y = 0

Putting y = 0 in Equation 1 we get

x - 0 = 4

⇒ x = 4

Hence the point of intersection of x axis and the line x - y = 4 is (4,0)
