As the point is in x-axis the ordinate will be 0.
Therefore the point is (X, 0)
Now applying distance formula,
(x-7)² + (0-6)² = (x+3)² + (0-4)²
x² + 49 - 14x + 36 = x² + 9 + 6x + 16
85 - 14x = 6x + 25
60 = 20x
x = 3
Therefore the point on x-axis is (3,0)
Therefore the point is (X, 0)
Now applying distance formula,
(x-7)² + (0-6)² = (x+3)² + (0-4)²
x² + 49 - 14x + 36 = x² + 9 + 6x + 16
85 - 14x = 6x + 25
60 = 20x
x = 3
Therefore the point on x-axis is (3,0)
