The P point is lie on y axis so x = 0 and let ordinate is y

the point is equidistant from two points A and B

so, AP = BP

By distance formula

√(0+1)^2+(y+2)^2=√(0-0)^2+(y+4)^2

1+y^2+4+4y= y^2+16+8y

5+4y=16+8y

5-16+4y-8y=0

-4y-11=0

-4y=11

y=-11/4

The Coordinates of point are 0,-11/4
