As the two zeroes are 1 and root 2 + 1, we can write the polynomial as

(x - 1)(x - ( \sqrt{2} + 1)) \\ = (x - 1)(x - \sqrt{2 } - 1) \\ = {x}^{2} - \sqrt{2} x - x - x + \sqrt{2} + 1 \\ = {x}^{2} - \sqrt{2} x - 2x + \sqrt{2} + 1

HOPE THIS COULD HELP!!!
