Answer :-

Potential difference bewteen the two points is 200 Volts .

Explanation :-

We have :-

→ Work done (W) = 20 mJ

→ Charge (C) = 100 μC

______________________________

Firstly, let's convert the unit of work done from mJ to J .

⇒ 1 mJ = 0.001 J

⇒ 20 mJ = 20(0.001)

⇒ 0.02 J

Now, we have to convert the unit of charge from uC to C .

⇒ 1 μC = 10⁻⁶ C

⇒ 100 μC = 100(10⁻⁶)

⇒ 10⁻⁴ C

⇒ 0.0001 C

______________________________

Now potential difference between the points will be :-

W = QV

⇒ V = W/Q

⇒ V = 0.02/0.0001

V = 200 V

Given :-

Work done = 20 mj

Charge = 100 μc

To Find :-

Potential difference

Solution :-

We know that

1 mJ = 10⁻³ J

20 mJ = 20 × 10⁻³ J

Also,

1 μC = 10⁻⁶ C

100 μC = 100 × 10⁻⁶

100 μC = 10⁻⁴ C

Now,

V = W/Q

Where

V = potential difference

W = work

Q = charge

V = 20 × 10⁻³/10⁻⁴

V = 20 × 10⁻³ × 10⁴

V = 20 × 10

V = 200 V
