Find the potential energy of a rock which weighs 300 in kept at a height of 500 m. Assume acceleration due to gravity as 10 m/s ( Weight = mass × acceleration due to gravity ) .

potential energy =mgh
so mgh=300×500×10=1500000

Hello mate here is your answer.....

We know that potential energy= mgh

So, therefore= 300*500*10

=1500000
