Given:- Focal length= 0.5

Formula:-

power \: of \: lense =  \frac{1}{focal \: length \: in \: meter}

power =  \frac{1}{0.5}

power =  \frac{10}{5}

Power of the lens = +2D

It for converging lens or convex lens

It for converging lens or convex lensIf it diverging lens or concave lens then focal lenth is taken negative and power should be -2D.
