the age of father is 32 and that of son is 8.
father age = x
son age = y
x = 4y  =>  x - 4y = 0 ........(1)
x+4 = 3(y + 4)  =>  x+4 = 3y + 12  =>  x - 3y - 8 = 0 .......(2)
by elimination , we get y = 8
so x = 4y = 4*8 = 32
                         hence proved.
