now, P = 1.013 × 10⁵ N/m² + 1000 kg/m³ × 10 m/s² × 10 m
= 1.013 × 10⁵ N/m² + 10⁵ N/m²
= 2.013 × 10⁵ N/m²
Therefore the pressure at the base of the dam is 2.013 × 10⁵ N/m².
