Explanation: w=mg so we do 80x10=800N to find the force

and turn the 400cm to m to find the area which will give us 0.04m

P=F over A

force: 800 area: 0.04

800 over 0.04=20,000 Pa/N/m2

if they asked about the pressure exerted on the floor by both feet we do:

P= 800 over 2x0.04 which will give us 10,000

the reason why the value decreased when the man is standing on both feet is because as pressure decreases area increases
