 Given \: Amount (A) = Rs \:6174 ,

 Rate \:of \: interest (R) = 5\%

  (n) = 2 \: years

 Let \: Principal = Rs \: P

 \boxed {\pink{A = P\Big( 1 + \frac{R}{100}\Big)^{n} }}

 \implies 6174 = P\Big( 1 + \frac{5}{100}\Big)^{2}

 \implies 6174 = P\Big( 1 + \frac{1}{20}\Big)^{2}

 \implies 6174 = P\Big(  \frac{21}{20}\Big)^{2}

 \implies P = 6174 \times \frac{20\times 20}{21\times 21 }

 \implies P = \frac{2469600}{441}

 \implies P = Rs \:5600

Therefore.,
