To Find : Probability of choosing a prime number

Solution:

S = { first 10 natural numbers }

S = { 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ,5 , 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 }

=> n(S) = 10

E =  prime number

E = { 2 , 3 , 5 , 7 }

n (E) = 4

P (E) = n(E) / n(S)  =  4/10  = 0.4

Probability of choosing a prime number  is 0.4
