When a die is rolled once, we can get any one from these numbers {1,2,3,4,5,6}

So, sample space (S) = {1,2,3,4,5,6}

n(S) = 6

Numbers which are divisible only by itself are known as Prime numbers i.e. 2,3, and 5 and rest are Composite numbers i.e. 4 and 6

Now, as we know that only number 1 is neither prime nor composite.

So, n(E) = 1

∴ Probability of getting neither prime nor composite number on the face of the die when it is rolled once = 1/6
