They are 52 weeks in a year..
52 weeks = 364 days..
In a leap year they are 366 days..

Hence they are 2 days extra...
These days can be :-
{Sunday,Monday}
{Monday, Tuesday}
{Tuesday, Wednesday}
{Wednesday, Thursday}
{Thursday, Friday}
{Friday, Saturday}
{Saturday,Sunday}

They are only 2 possibilities of Fridays in the 7 outcomes..

Thus P(E) = 2/7

Hope this helps!!
cheers!! (:

In case of exam..
If they ask you what is the probablity of getting 53 Mondays/Tuesdays etc
..

There is only 1 possibility out of 7..
Hence P(E) = 1/7 in a year
2/7 in a leap year...
