Hi Moderator,

Here is your answer,

1.A leap year

(1) Leap year then the february month will have 29 days.
So, No of total complete week= 4 Wednesday

So, there will be 1 day left so it can be any of the days in the week.
P( 5 wednesday in a leap year) = 1/7

(2) In a non leap year feburary has 28 days so which indicated that 4 complete weeks.

So, there can be only 4 wednesday in non leap year.

So, Therefore,
P(5 WEDNESDAY IN NON- LEAP YEAR )= 0

here is your answer :-)

what is probability?

The chance that something will happen.

How likely it is that some event will occur.

Sometimes we can measure the  probability with a number like "40% chance", or we can use words such as impossible, unlikely, possible, even chance, likely and certain.

what is leap year?

A leap year is a year which has 366 days. The extra day is the 29th February. There is a leap year every four years.

___________
now let's come to question ............

(i) If it is a leap year,
then the total number of days in the month of February is 29 days .

So , the number of total complete weeks = 4 In other words, which means 4 Wednesdays.

Now , there is only one day left. Thus it can be any of the days in a week.

P( 5 Wednesday in a leap year)= 1/7

(ii) In a non - leap year February has 28 days which means only 4 complete weeks.

Thus there can only be 4 Wednesdays in non leap year.

Hence

P(5 Wednesday in non-leap year) = 0
