heya !!!

here's your answer:

◆no. of days in February= 28 (non leap year) or 29(leap year).
◆also, four complete weeks in February.
◆so ,either no extra day in February in non leap year or an extra day in leap year.
◆if the month starts with monday ,Tuesday,or wednesday ,there are 5 wednesdays.

◆so ,

(i) probability of 5 wednesdays in leap year =
1/7 ( bcz there was 1 extra day in leap ).

(ii) probability of 5 wednesdays in non leap year = 0/7 =0 (bcz there was no or 0 extra day in non leap ).

Hi Moderator,

Here is your answer,

1.A leap year

(1) Leap year then the february month will have 29 days.
So, No of total complete week= 4 Wednesday

So, there will be 1 day left so it can be any of the days in the week.
P( 5 wednesday in a leap year) = 1/7

(2) In a non leap year feburary has 28 days so which indicated that 4 complete weeks.

So, there can be only 4 wednesday in non leap year.

So, Therefore,
P(5 WEDNESDAY IN NON- LEAP YEAR )= 0

HOPE IT HELPS YOU!
