 (\frac{x - y}{5 - 1} )( \frac{x + y}{5 + 1} ) \\  =  \frac{x - y}{4}  \times  \frac{x + y}{6}  \\  =  \frac{ {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2} }{24}

 \frac{(x - y)}{(5 - 1)}  \times  \frac{(x + y)}{(5 + 1)}  \\  \\

We know that ,

(a + b)(a - b) =  {a}^{2}  -  {b}^{2}

From this identity ,

 \frac{ {x}^{2} -  {y}^{2}  }{4 \times 6}  \\  \\   \frac{ {x}^{2} -  {y}^{2}  }{24}
