Solution

Pythagoras triplets are of the form 2m, m² -1 and m² + 1.

It is given that the one number is 12

So, 2m = 12.

m = 6

Now,

second number = m² -1 = 6² – 1 = 36-1=35

third number = m² + 1 = 6² + 1 = 36+1 =37

Hence, the triplet is 12, 35 and 37.

Answer

Therefore, The Pythagorean triplet whose one number is 12 is 12,35,37.
