(1)3^2 = 9, 4^2 = 16, 5^2 = 25

Now, 9 + 16 = 25

∴ 3^2 + 4^2 = 52

∴ 3, 4 and 5 is a Pythagorean triplet

(2) 2^2 = 4, 4^2 = 16, 5^2 = 25

But, 4 + 16 ≠ 25

∴ 2^2 + 4^2 ≠ 5^2

∴ 2, 4 and 5 is not a Pythagorean triplet
