Step 1: Find the sum of zeros.

Sum of zeros = -2 + 1

⇢ Sum of zeros = -1

Step 2: Find out the product of zeros.

Product of zeros = 2 × (-1)

➟ Product of zeros = -2

Step 3:

Quadratic polynomial = x² - (Sum)x + Product

➮ Quadratic polynomial = x² - (-1)x + (-2)

→ Quadratic polynomial = x² + x - 2

∴ Quadratic polynomial = x² + x - 2
