let zeros of the polynomial are α and β

α+β=8---(1)
αβ=12----(2)

required polynomial
x²-(α+β)x+αβ= x²-8x+12

finding zeros
x²-8x+12 = x²-6x-2x+12
=x(x-6)-2(x-6)
=(x-6)(x-2)
x-6=0 or x-2=0
x=6 or x=2
