Sum of zeroes =s =3+(-8)=-5
Product of zeroes =p=3(-8)=-24
Quadratic eqn is
x²-sx+p=0
x²+5x-24=0

let α=3 and β=-8sum of zeros=3-8=-5product of zeros=3×{-8}=-24so required polynomial is = x²-{sum of zeroes}x+{product of zeros}                                        = x²-{-5}x+{-24}                                        = x²+5x-24
