Find the quotient and the remainder when the polynomial 3x^4 – 4x^3 – 3x – 1 is divided by x-1. Also verify the remainder by remainder theorem
I have done the 1st part of the question,plz help me with the 2nd part..

so, the remainder will be(-5)

now remainder theorem is

dividend= divisor* quotient+ remainder

3x^4 – 4x^3 – 3x – 1 =(X+1)×(3x^3-x^2-x+4 )+(-5)

when we multiply divisor to quotient and add remainder then it will equals to dividend,

3x^4 – 4x^3 – 3x – 1=3x^4 -x^3-x^2 +4x+

3x^3-x^2-x+4and -5

this will result to 3x^4 – 4x^3 – 3x – 1 this
