47°37'
=47°30/60°
=142/3°
Now in radian we have to multiply by π/180
Therefore,
142/3*π/180
=71π/270rad

SOLUTION :

  • -47°30'

we know that ,

1 degree = 60' and 1 min = 1/60 degree

So,

= - 47 + 30/60 degree

= - 47 + 1/2 degree

= -(94 + 1)/2 degree

= - 95/2 degree

180 ° = π radian

1° = π/180 radian

= - 95/2 × π/180 radian

= - 19/2 × π/36 radian

= - 19π/72 radian

  • So, - 47°30' = -19π/72 radian
